This is a vintage 1970s anodised aluminium and chrome floor lamp (not a repro), often referred to as a mid-century eyeball lamp. Featuring a brushed gold-toned spherical shade and slimline chrome stand with black accent hardware, the lamp is height and angle adjustable via a patented mechanism (PAT No. 168600).
Designed for functional task lighting with sculptural modernist appeal, this lamp is typical of European and American industrial design influences of the 1970s. A must-have for any home!
