Context

According to a coaster collector, U Sv. Tomáše was a traditional pub in Prague that closed in the mid-20th century. The Sv. Tomáše brewery is likely related to the St. Thomas Church in Malá Strana, Czechoslovakia. Until 1951, the monastery brewed beer. According to a Prague travel guide, U Sv. Tomáše is still open and a tourist attraction, although once served the Czech elite. Leopoldo Arús Caraballo brought this coaster from Prague as a gift for his father, as he did not allow beverages on wooden furniture without a coaster underneath.
