Georgie White Clark:
promotional and publicity material
Georgie [Georgia] White Clark was one of the most colorful of the Colorado River runners. During the 1950s and '60s her Royal River Rats plied the rapids of the Colorado through Grand Canyon and down into Lake Mead where they ended their journey by decamping at the Boulder Dam Hotel in Boulder City. Clark died on May 12, 1992 and is the subject of Richard Westwood's biography, Woman of the River: Georgia White Clark. White-Water Pioneer [Logan, UT: Utah State University Press, 1997].
This manuscript collection contains promotional and publicity material for Clark's river-running enterprise.
