Firstlight Pictures MS 18 Firstlight Pictures Firstlight Pictures is the New Jersey film company which produced a documentary on the construction of Hoover Dam and Boulder City. Working with historian Dennis McBride, Firstlight began production in late 1996 and completed the film in the fall of 1997. "Hoover Dam" was first broadcast as part of PBS's American Experience series on January 18, 1998. This collection contains McBride's correspondence with Firstlight, the company's treatment and the first, second, and third drafts of the script with McBride's notes and recommendations. The collection also includes videotapes of the first, second, third, and final cut of the documentary. * * *
