Robert and Helen Lewis Papers
Robert [1900-1979] and Helen Lewis [1901-1985] came to Boulder City from Ruth, Nevada in 1932. Lewis was a charter member of Boulder City's Knights of Pythias and the Lions Club. The house in which they settled at 640 Avenue C is the last Six Companies house in Boulder City nearly unchanged from its original construction. Historian and philanthropist Virginia "Teddy" Fenton bought the house in 1985-86 after the death of Mrs. Lewis and has maintained it as the Museum House, which is bequeathed to the Boulder City Museum and Historical Association upon her, Mrs. Fenton's, death.
