Marilyn Pearson Papers
Marilyn Pearson was a local artist whose drawings and caricatures of Boulder City News editor Bill Harbour in the 1970s and early '80s brought a popular touch of whimsy to the town's newspaper. Pearson was one of the earliest and most distinguished of the News' collection of artists, which has included Ray Collins, whose award-winning political comic strip, "Cecil and Dipstick Duck," ran from 1990 through 1996; and Paul Curry, whose one-panel cartoon, "The Pencils," appeared in 1998-99.
