Kennewick Pasco Auto Bridge under construction. Built by a group of investors from Kennewick and Walla Walla Know as Northwest Toll Bridge Company. The state of Washington purchased the bridge in 1931 for $600,000. Funds for purchase were provided by a special act during the 1931 legislature.

Snake River, Ferry, later known as Patterson Ferry.
Snake River, Gas-Powered Sternwheeler Ferry. Ferry is beached at Ainsworth. NPRR bridge can be seen in background. Ferry worked traffic between Pasco and Burbank in early 20th century.

The Fallon Bridge 1920 was named after Mrs. Fallon who took her horse and buggy and made the rounds to farm families with a petition to build a bridge so the school children wo lived in what is now West Richland would not have to ford the river to go to school. L/R: Glady Chellis, Lucille Harmon, Francis Mitchell, and Ed. Flannigan. The brige now standing was built in 1923.
