The cornerstone of the Episcopal church in Exeter, under the name of “Holy Trinity” was laid July 8, 1874 by Rev. Richard Price. The church was consecrated by the Rev. H. A. Neely, Bishop of the Diocese on December 7, 1875. Rev. Price died in September 1875 before its completion. He is one of the individuals buried in the private graveyard at the east end of the church.
