Bed-sized quilt, yellow and white. Hand-pieced Star of Bethlehem pattern, hand-quilted. The quilts were passed down to donor by her mother (S. Louise Bell of Marshalltown, Iowa). The quilts were made by donor's great-aunt Calista Hufford who was always known as "Lista". Lista was born in 1862 and died in 1943 at the age of 81.Provenance
