My dear father
I have just time to write to you a few lines, to tell you that I love / you sincerely- The time has appeared very long to me since you left home-/ We all feel very solitary without you- Do come back as soon as you can- / For we want you very much-
I have been staying out of town the last week / with Uncle Martin. I intend returning tomorrow and I think I shall / stay till you come home. It is very solitary there but I have been / so dissipated this winter that I mean to rest a little _
I have finished Charles Vth- - and began / [Molies] ancient History-
All the family is well and send their / love to you, I shall write to you next week-
Adieu my dear father and
Believe me your dutiful
& affectionate child
