[PAGE 1] New York Feb 16th, 1804 My Dear Papa I have been taking one of /grandmama’s short walks only visiting half a / dozen widows near the collic and have re-/ turned home so tired that I do not know/ what to do. / Mama and eliza received letters from / Ann last monday. Eliza refuses to shew hers / though we are all very anxious to see it. / I will begin to transcribe passages as soon/ as I leave Miss Harding/ I stay their until / I have finished my benches. [END OF PAGE 1] [PAGE 2] When did Mr. Stansbury say he should be a - /ble to attend me as I am very anxious for / him to begin. / Charlotte seton [sic] has been very sick but / she is now recovering Adieu my dear papa/ And depend upon the affection Of your child S.
