I was surprised and rejoiced / to hear of the return of our dear Doctor; / now, you will be happy - Abraham will / hand you this, and I do intreat [sic] you, / [Missy], to take a few moments of your now / precious time, to let me know how that / Doctor is, what he says of Chicago, Sarah, etc. - the [horses] being constantly / employed, I can not return until Sun - / day, so don’t disappoint me _ But / love to all _ Abraham is waiting / for my note _ Your affec’t mother /
