"Field & Stream," December 1929 issue. The front cover has a large color image of a bird hunter lying wait among plant material while birds fly in the sky above him. At the top is the date, title in red and black letters, price, and a motto "America's Magazine for the Outdoorsman." A major article title is at the right. Articles pertain mainly to hunting and fishing, but also concern camping, game and fishing laws, and others, such as regular departments. Black and white photographs are the primary means of illustration and there are many advertisements throughout. In good condition, the item has spine rubbing; cover creases; light surface soiling; page yellowing; fading to pgs. 97-108 at the top right corner; a musty smell; staple tarnish; and tears on pages 21-40 at the bottom right, pages 95-108 at the right near the bottom, and some on the cover, and along the spine at the top and bottom.Lexicon
