Chehalis Indian Reservation School. Image shows students in the foreground and buildings in the background. Buildings identified by John Benn as: far left, laundry, boarding school, students slept on the second floor; school; older students attended school (Jr.High and High School); houses, Where matrons and employees lived; far right was the infirmary and the Doctor's house. There was also a blacksmith shop by the river not shown in the photograph. ca.1889. Copy from the Chehalis Indian book. Have negative.
