N.P.R.R. Roundhouse at Centralia, WA in Sept. 1927. A-20 Stall Roundhouse, 1-13 for N.P. engines, 14-20 for U.P. engines; B-Car Repair Shack; F-Turntable Operator Shack (electrically powered);24 Covered Storage (house) tracks; 25-Outdoor Storage Tracks. Note: woodpile at extreme right for Loco Fire-up. The little flat bed push car at the end of turntable was used to haul wood in to house. 13-14 Car Repair Tracks (Rip Tracks); 6-Stall #6 was used for locomotive, which supplied steam to run Roundhouse appliances (airpump, steam blower lines, etc.) after depression scrapping of powerhouse. 7&8-Stalls used for washing boilers on N.P. engines.
