Photo of the area west of the railroad tracks at Prindle Street. Large 3 story building is the Holy Rosary Academy which opened in 1895. It was a boarding and day school conducted by the Dominican Sisters for grades one through eight. It continued until 1918 when the location became undesirable because of the nearness to the railroad. The buildings in the foreground is where Palmer Lumber Company was later located. Chehalis, WA ca. 1909 Have negative.Collection
