In an 1865 volume of the "Congregational Globe" are pasted newspaper clippings, many from the Lansing State Republican newspaper, circa 1870s. Included are clippings on the New Capitol. Also a memorial program from the death of Florence Ranney in 1891.
This volume belonged to Lansing resident B.F. Davis and is dated February 15, 1891 on the front fly.
A photo of the Fiske Day residence in Lansing was found tucked in the book and removed.
