MSC Marching Band Jacket, 1954Description
An original Michigan State Band Jacket with pre-1955 MSC Marching Band patch. Also has the first Rose Bowl Band patch on the right sleeve from the 1954 Rose Bowl. Made by champion, size 38.
Does not have the recognizable Michigan State Band letters on the back. Its white Band around the waist and wrists is different than modern jackets as well. Otherwise the design has remained consistent since 1953-4.
Acquired from a collector who acquired it from the original owner's estate in Tecumseh, Michigan. The original owner's identity has been lost.
