Real photo postcard of the new Dairy Building at Michigan Agricultural College in East Lansing, Michigan. Postally unused, circa 1912. A new Dairy Building was completed in 1912 at the north end of Farm Lane, east of Agriculture Hall. The building was designed by Lansing architect Edwyn Bowd. It was used by the Department of Dairy Husbandry and the College Creamery, as well as general classrooms. Dairy operations moved south of the river, with the adjacent farms that once stood in north campus. farm operations. After that, this building became the Soil Sciences Building. It was demolished in 1987.
