Portrait of a Woman Photo by Hajos-Ellison

Description

Portrait photograph of an unidentified woman by Lansing photographer Hajos-Ellison. In 1943, O.C. Hajos purchased the Lewis-Ellison Studio. Due to the great respect for Ralph Ellison in the Lansing photographic community, Hajos kept Ellison's name attached to the studio but removed the Lewis name. The studio's new name was the Hajos-Ellison Studio, which lasted from 1943 until about 1958.
