Description

This 1926 National Farmers' Dairy Cattle Judging Contest award was won by the Ingham-Lansing Cow Test Association as a team in Detroit. The award was given as the Lansing-Ingham Assn. placed first in judging Guernsey herds. The Lansing-Ingham CTA, a dairy herd improvement association, tested around 26 herds in the area for productivity in pounds of milk and butterfat. This local association was largely administered by Michigan State College laboratory testers.
