A long, straight, cylindrical piece of wood with a white handle made of animal bone and a metal point at the other end. This cane was made by Capt. Isaiah Sweet (1762-1884), who was one of Brome's earliest settlers. The wood was brought by Isaiah from Missisquoi Bay when he was young. The bone part was from the leg of a much-prized colt, which he lost by accident. This cane was given to his adopted son, Silas Bresee. - - - - Cette canne a été fabriquée par le capitaine Isaiah Sweet (1762-1884), l'un des premiers colons de Brome.
