Description

Memorial Cross (Silver Cross) of Major William Jeffrey Holliday, MC (511008). Born on April 12, 1877 in Quebec City, he participated in the Boer War with the Canadian Mounted Rifles, and enlisted for World War I on July 9, 1915. He died of his wounds April 16, 1917 and is buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France.
