A green Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) third generation in use in the province of Kandahar. The LAV III was used by Canada in Afghanistan as a troop transport and patrol vehicle. Some units referred to them as boats because of the way they would glide across the sand just like a boat would glide across the water. A total of 51 LAV III were used in Afghanistan.Photograph Details
