Description

8 mounted medal ribbons belonging to RSM James Albert Mitchell. The ribbons are mounted on a large metal pin. The ribbons have some stains and discolouration, as well as some tears and rips. These are the originals, the medals have received new ribbons and are now on display in the RMR Museum. From left to right the ribbons were for; The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Military division, 2nd type. Members M.B.E. breast badge. 1939-45 Star. France and Germany Star. Defence Medal 1939-45. Voluntary Service Medal with overseas clasp. War Medal 1939-45. Coronation 1937. Efficiency Medal. G.VI.R. Canada with 3rd clasps.
