A Canadian LAV III Personnel Carrier proceeding along the main highway leading to and from Kandahar City. At the risk of being targeted by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) or an IED, they would never travel alone. Here, a minimum of four vehicles is on the move.
