Description

As World War II drew to an end, long service soldiers were given leave to return to Canada. On the verso is a newspaper clipping article on The Royal Montreal Regiment "originals" who left in December 1939. They were returning for leave in April 1945. If the war had of continued they would have been returned to their Regiments at the end of their leaves.
