Three Comrades together on a mission to Afghanistan. Captain Nicolas Gauthier, Captain Anthony Petrilli and Captain George Siket found themselves together in Kandahar. Captain Petrilli was serving in Alberta when he answered the call to serve overseas, while Captains Siket and Gauthier were serving in Quebec when their call to arms was accepted.
In the background is a line of Hesco bastions, earth-filled defensive baskets used worldwide to create perimeter protection barriers. Made to be temporary accommodations to mitigate vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices, they have evolved to offer quick deployable semi-permanent security fence solutions.Photograph Details
