Description

Canvas kit bag belonging to Lance Corporal Charles Arthur Schofield. The large bag has Schofield's name and information written in black (RMR, NUMBER, B-COY etc). The bag is secured at the top with a wooden address tag attached to a rope. On the wooden tag, carved and traced in black is his address '1351 Belanger St. MTL'. Every soldier would have a rudimentary bag like this one to store their belongings.
