Badge for the Canadian Women's Army Corps (CWAC). Established during World war II, the CWAC was a branch of the Canadian Army meant to release men in non-combat positions. The branch was abolished in 1964 when women were fully integrated into the Canadian Armed Forces although many women still wore the cap badge with their new uniforms.
