Scope and Content

A homemade scrapbook made by Captain Steacie's son documenting the First World War and the RMRs involvement. The cover is a leather hardcover, with a black spine and corners, and a green body. The spine, corners and some edges are damaged from age. There are traces of someone putting a sweaty glass on the cover. Inside, there are 45 pages and they are a yellowed construction paper. Most of the scrapbook contains newspaper clippings and photos collected throughout the war. All the articles mention either the RMR or Captain Steacie. The articles and photos are glued and taped onto the construction paper.
