A portrait photograph bearing crop marks and ready for newspaper publication. Private Stanley M. Enair had distinguished himself during the battle for the Leopold Canal. As a stretcher-bearer, he braved enemy machine-gun fire and repeatedly crossed the canal in an assault boat to evacuate the injured.
