"GI Joe" holding the regimental flag of The Royal Montreal Regiment. The action figure was adopted as the unofficial mascot of the RMR Junior Ranks Club.
He was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan along with members of the Regiment when he was issued his very own Desert CADPAT. Often a key member on missions, he was part of more than 200 combat patrols.
''GI Joe" has been part of the unit for a very long time and was deployed on many missions. These days, he keeps busy being spotted on parades or representing the Regiment on courses.Photograph Details
