Bare headed soldiers are standing around the grave of a deceased soldier about to be buried. He is resting on a stretcher wrapped in a blanket. A white memorial marker bears his name and details. On the left, at the foot of the grave a soldier standing with his helmet in his hand, while an officer reads the burial service. The grave marker reads: "In the memory of Pte J.W.
