It should be noted that two of the seated officers, Meighen (2nd from left) and McCombe (on the right) had served as Commanders of The Royal Montreal Regiment before the end of the war. The others had all served in varying capacities with the Regiment.
Lt.-Col. Desrosiers served as a company commander with the 14th before obtaining his own command. He subsequently commanded the 163rd, the 10th & 23rd reserve, and the 22nd Bns during the War.Subject Person or Organization
