Peter Michael McEntyre of Westmount attended McGill University. After his naval service he worked as an accountant. He was elected as the Mayor City of Westmount PQ 1969-1971. He was the President of Comtrust Holdings and Chairman Canada Cement Lafarge.
Military Service -
He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 18/08/1941). In 1942 he served in HMCS Burlington. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 18/05/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served in HMCS Kings (Officer's Training Establishment) for Long Navigation Course 1943. In 1944 he served in HMCS Sioux. In 1945 he served in HMCS Niobe. In 1945 he served in HMCS Ste. Hyacinthe. (He was demobilized 01/02/1946.) (He was qualified with Watchkeeping Certificate.)
