Graduated from McGill University, Kenneth P. Farmer served with The Royal Montreal Regiment and later the Manitoba Dragoons until May 1945. He took part in the Liberation of the Netherlands. He was an athletic legend, especially when it came to hockey. In 1936, he was part of the Canadian delegation to represent Canada in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch, Germany where Canadian Olympic Hockey won the silver medal.
