It is believed this photo was taken in the Officers Mess, on March 6, 1970, at the 25th, and last, Annual Regimental Ball. Major-General Alfred James (Jim) Tedlie, D.S.O., C.D. and his wife were guests of honour. He was Deputy Chief of Staff for Force Development in Ottawa at that time, retiring in 1971 after 32 years of service.
