General Notes

Note

A two-part artwork based on the persistence, resilience of nature and how nature can often break through the built environment in a show of tenacity and strength. Nature’s patterns, shapes and systems relate to each other in unpredictable ways. This artwork looks at the different associations that could be made ‘where nature bumps up against the man-made. But often, nature has a way of “breaking through” despite how we try to shape and control our environment. This artwork consists of a long art screen wall and a tall sculpture that hugs and protects while celebrating nature along Seattle’s waterfront.
