Description

A.) Coat. Olive drab wool; stand up collar, cotton lined, with two eyelets for mounting bronze disks, one US (missing) and one lyre denoting bandsman. Wool epaulets with bronze buttons. Down front are five large bronze buttons impressed with American Eagle. Four patch pockets with flaps, each with smaller bronze button, on front. Stamped inside back DAR 110 Co G o 124. Left Sleeve: evidence of unit patch and rank insignia removed. Lower forearm is bandsman lyre on circular patch. Right sleeve: some evidence of insignia removed. Two gold overseas chevrons. Condition: moth hole on right shoulder. B.) Trousers (britches) Olive drab wool, two slash pockets and watch pocket on front; two pockets rear. Button fly, five steel buttons marked US Army.
