Lists information about graduates serving in Armed Forces. "Buy a Bomber" Campaign news. Combined efforts of all schools in St. Joseph to sell enough war bonds to buy a bomber @ $75,000. An open letter from "Betty Co-ed" to absent male classmates serving in Armed Forces. Punning that they are now attending the best finishing school for girls in the Midwest, even mentioning that some classes consist only of four girls. Reports that R.C.A. (Radio) is recruiting girls for engineering training, and F.B.I. opening clerical position to Girls. Mentions that the "griffon", which is their school mascot, is now used as symbol of U.S.-British unity. Column: "What Kind of College Credit for War Service" discussing how much and what type credit might be given for war time experience when serviceman returns to college after the war.
