ثوب من منطقة قلنديا قضاء القدس، من القماش المخمل الأحمر، مُطرّز بخيوط القصب المُذّهب والفضي ومُزيّن بالخرز الملون. قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بقطبة التحريرة بخيوط من القصب المُذّهب وبأشكال نباتية وهندسية ومُزيّنة بالخرز، أما الأكتاف والردهة الخلفية فلا تحمل أي تطريز. وطُرّزت الأكمام بقطبة التحريرة بخيوط من القصب المُذّهب بعرق الساعة، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بأشكال نباتية وهندسية. يظهر تطريز قليل من عرقين متوازيين من الأشكال الهندسية على البدن الأمامي والخلفي للثوب، ويظهر أسفل البدن الخلفي عروق من الأشكال النباتية والهندسية وعرق الساعة. أما الجانب الأيمن من البنايق مطُرّز بعرق من قصب مُذّهب ينتهي برسمة الساعة.
A red velvet thobe (dress) from Qalandia, Jerusalem. It is embroidered with gilded qasab (metallic couching cord). The chest panel is embroidered with plant and geometric shapes using a Tahriri (couching) stitch and adorned with multi-coloured beads. As for the shoulders and the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline), they bear no tatreez (embroidery). The sleeves are embroidered with watch motifs using a Tahriri stitch, whereas the cuffs have a tatreez of plant and geometric shapes. The front and back panel have a light tatreez of two parallel stitch patterns of geometric shapes. Moreover, the bottom of the back panel is embroidered with stitch patterns of plant and geometric shapes and a watch motif. The right side solely (al-Banayiq) has a tatreez of stitch pattern with a watch motif on its end.Made/Created
