جلاية من منطقة الجليل، مصنوعة من قماش الكتان الأسود والمطرزة بطابع التطريز السوري بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الوردي وتمتاز بكثافة التطريز. الجلاية مفتوحة من الأعلى إلى الأسفل على شكل معطف مع وجود أزرار على منطقة الصدر. قبة الجلاية مطرزة بأشكال هندسية وعرق الريش، أما أكتاف الجلاية مطرزة بعرق الريش باللون الخمري والبنفسجي والوردي. أكمام الجلاية مطرزة بعرق الريش وبعض الأشكال الهندسية وعرق المناجل. بدن الثوب لا يحمل أي تطريز عدا عن عرق المناجل في المنتصف وعرق الريش والأشكال الهندسية أسفله. البنايق مُطرّزة بعرق الريش والأشكال الهندسية والنباتية، وتحتوي جوانب الجلاية على جيوب.

Jalaya (overcoat) thobe from Galilee. It is made of black linen, with embroidery influenced by the Syrian style, featuring primarily pink silk threads. The jalaya is distinguished by its heavy tatreez (embroidery). It is open from the top of the chest panel to the bottom of the thobe in a form of a coat with buttons on the chest area. The chest panel of the jalaya is embroidered with geometric shapes and feather motifs. As for the shoulders, they have a tatreez of feather motifs in burgundy, purple, and pink. The sleeves are embroidered with geometric shapes along with manajil (sickles) and feather motifs. The front panel of the jalaya bears no embroidery but a light tatreez of manajil motifs on its center and feather motifs on its bottom. The sides (al-Banayiq) have a tatreez of plant and geometric shapes, as well as pockets.Made/Created
