ثوب الأرامل من منطقة بئر السبع، من قماش القطن الأسود، مُطرّز بخيوط من الحرير باللون الأحمر والأزرق. قبّة الثوب مُطرّزة بعرق الريش وأشكال نباتية وهندسية يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر، أما النياشين فمُطرّزة بالأشكال الهندسية، بينما لا تحتوي الردهة الخلفية على أي تطريز. وطُرّزت الأكمام بعرق الريش وبعض الأشكال الهندسية والنباتية، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بالمناجل. يوجد تطريز كثيف من عرق الريش والسرو والمراوح باللون الأزرق على البدن الأمامي والخلفي للثوب والبنايق، ذيل الثوب مُطرّز بقطبة الحشي الدارج استخدامها في أثواب منطقة بئر السبع.

Widows thobe (dress) from Bir Saba’. It is made of black cotton and embroidered with primarily red and blue silk threads. The chest panel of the thobe is embroidered with predominantly red geometric and plant shapes along with feather motifs. As for the Nayashin (medal), they have a tatreez (embroidery) of geometric shapes, while the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline) bears no embroidery. The sleeves are embroidered with feather motifs and a variety of geometric and plant shapes, whereas the cuffs are embroidered with manajil (sickles) motifs. The front and back panel of the thobe along with the sides (al-Banayiq) are heavily embroidered with feather, cypress, and fans motifs in blue. Additionally, the tail of the thobe is embroidered with blue threads using a Tihshaya (couching) filling stitch, the stitch type used in all thobes from the Bir Saba’ area.Made/Created
