جلاية من منطقة الجليل، مصنوعة من قماش الكتان الأسود ومُطرزة بطابع التطريز السوري بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر والوردي. الجلاية مفتوحة من منتصف القبة إلى الأسفل وتمتاز بكثرة التطريز. قبة الجلاية مطرزة بأشكال هندسية، كما طُرز على أطرافها شكل التشريفة المعرجة وعليها عرق الريش، أما النياشين فطُرزت بأشكال هندسية. أكمام الجلاية مطرزة بعرق الريش، وإسورة الكم مطرزة بأشكال هندسية. بدن الجلاية الأمامي مطرز بنفس الأشكال التي طُرّزت على القبة والأكمام، أما البدن الخلفي فمُطرّز بعرق الريش، كما زُيّنت البنايق وفتحة الجلاية وذيلها بشراشيب ملونة.

Jalaya (overcoat) thobe from Galilee. It is made of black linen, with embroidery influenced by the Syrian style, featuring primarily red and pink silk threads. The jalaya is distinguished by its heavy tatreez (embroidery). It is open from the top of the chest panel to the bottom of the thobe in a form of a coat with buttons on the chest area. The chest panel of the jalaya is embroidered with geometric shapes and is framed with zigzag tashrifi motifs. As for the Nayashin (medal), they are embroidered with geometric shapes. The sleeves are embroidered with feather motifs, whereas the cuffs have a tatreez of geometric shapes. The front panel has the same embroidery as the chest panel and the sleeves. As for the back panel, it has a tatreez of feather motifs. The sides (al-Banayiq) of the jalaya and its tail and slit are adorned with colorful tassels.Made/Created
