ثوب من منطقة الظاهرية قضاء الخليل، من قماش الحَبر، مطرز بخيوط حرير بألوان زاهية بقطبة الصليب الفلاحية. قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بأشكال نباتية كالورود، أما الأكتاف المردنة والردهة الخلفية والأكمام فلا تحمل أي تطريز.
يظهر تطريز رفيع من الأشكال النباتية كالورود على البدن الأمامي والخلفي للثوب، كما يظهر تطريز من عرق الورود والأوراق بقطبة الصليب الفلاحية على أسفل البدن الخلفي للثوب، أما البنايق فمُطرّزة بالمناجل وأشكال نباتية بألوان الربيع
A thobe (dress) from Ad-Dhahiriya, Hebron. It is made of shiny black satin-like cotton (habar) and embroidered with bright multi-coloured silk threads with a Fallahi (peasant) cross stitch. The chest panel of the thobe has a tatreez (embroidery) of plant shapes like roses. As for the shoulders, mradan sleeves (long triangular sleeves), and the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline), they bear no tatreez. The front and back panel have a thin stitch pattern of plant shapes like roses. Moreover, the bottom of the back panel is embroidered with rose and leaves motifs using a Fallahi (peasant) cross stitch. The sides (al-Banayiq) are embroidered with manajil (sickles) motifs and plant shapes in vivid spring colours.Made/Created
