ثوب من منطقة بئر السبع، من قماش القطن الأسود، مطرز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر. قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بعرق خيمة الباشا وعرق السرو على الأطراف، كما يوجد قطعة قماش على عنق الثوب، أما النياشين والردهة الخلفية لا تحمل أي تطريز. وطُرّزت الأكمام بعرق الريش والأشكال النباتية، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بالأشكال الهندسية. يظهر تطريز خفيف من عرق الريش والمراوح والحجابات وورق العنب والقوار على البدن الأمامي للثوب، بينما يظهر تطريز كثيف من عرق خيمة الباشا والأشكال الهندسية على البدن الخلفي للثوب، أما البنايق فطُرّزت بعرق الريش وخيمة الباشا والحجابات وورق العنب وبعض الأشكال النباتية والهندسية. وطُرّز ذيل الثوب بالأشكال الهندسية.

A thobe (dress) from Bir Saba’. It is made of black cotton and embroidered with primarily red silk threads. The chest panel of the thobe is embroidered with Pasha’s tent motifs framed by cypress motifs. As for the Nayashin (medal) and the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline), they bear no embroidery. The sleeves have a tatreez (embroidery) of feather motifs and plant shapes, whereas the cuffs have a tatreez of geometric shapes. The front panel of the thobe has a light tatreez of feather, fans, amulets, grape leaves, and rose pots motifs, whereas the back panel is heavily embroidered with Pasha’s tent motifs and geometric shapes. The sides (al-Banayiq) are embroidered with feather, Pasha’s tent, amulets, grape leaves motifs along with plant and geometric shapes. Additionally, the tail of the thobe is embroidered with geometric shapes.Made/Created
