ثوب أبو قطبة اساوري من منطقة سلوان قضاء القدس، من القماش العثماني الأصفر المخطط بالأسود، مطرز بخيوط حرير باللون البرتقالي والأحمر والأخضر والقصب المُذّهب على شكل قطبة التحريرة. يظهر على أعلى قبّة الثوب قطعة من قماش المخمل البنفسجي مُطرّزة بخيوط حرير على شكل عصفور في كل جانب، أما بقية القبة فمُطرّزة بقطبة التحريرة بأشكال هندسية ونباتية كالورد باللون الأحمر والبرتقالي، حين أن الردهة الخلفية صُنعت من قماش الكتان الوردي. وطُرّزت الأكمام المردنة وقد صُنع جزء منها من الحرير الهرمزي الخمري بقطبة اللف والتحشاي (التحريرة) على شكل رسمة الساعة والمناجل. لا يظهر أي تطريز على البدن الأمامي للثوب، ويظهر على أسفل البدن الخلفي تطريز برسمة الساعة. أما البنايق فقد صُنعت من قماش الحرير الهرمزي الخمري وطُرّزت بقطبة التحريرة والمناجل وعروق بأشكال هندسية ونباتية.
Abu Qutba (Asawiri) thobe (dress) from the area of Silwan, Jerusalem. It is made of yellow Ottoman cloth striped in black, embroidered with silk threads in orange, red and green, and gilded qasab (metallic couching cord) with a Tahriri stitch. The chest panel is embroidered with geometric and plant shapes like roses with a Tahriri stitch in red and orange silk threads. Moreover, part of the panel is made of a purple velvet fabric embroidered with bird motif, whereas the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline) is made of pink linen. The sleeves are mradan (long triangular sleeves), with part made of burgundy heremzi, embroidered with Laff and Tahriri stitch in manajil (sickles) and watch motifs. The front panel of the thobe bears no tatreez, whereas the bottom of the back panel has a tatreez (embroidery) of watch motif. The sides (al-Banayiq) are made of burgundy heremzi silk and embroidered with stitch patterns of geometric and plant shapes along with manajil motifs with a Tahriri (couching) stitch.Made/Created
