ثوب من منطقة بئر السبع، من قماش القطن والكتان الأسود، مطرّز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر بقطبة الصليب الفلاحية. قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بشكل كثيف بأشكال هندسية ونباتية يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر والأزرق، أما الأكتاف والردهة الخلفية فلا تحمل أي تطريز، ورُكّبت على الردهة الخلفية قطعة من قماش القطن الأزرق. وطُرّزت الأكمام بعرق كثيف مُطرّز بأشكال نباتية وهندسية، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بأشكال نباتية كالورد. يظهر تطريز كثيف من الأشكال الهندسية والنباتية على البدن الأمامي للثوب، بينما يظهر على البدن الخلفي للثوب تطريز كثيف من عرقين مُطرّزين بالأشكال النباتية والهندسية وعروق أفقية مُطرّزة بعرق الورد وقوار الورد، أما البنايق فمُطرّزة بعروق من الأشكال النباتية والهندسية. وطُرّز ذيل الثوب بقطبة الحشي السائد استخدامها في أثواب منطقة بئر السبع.

A thobe (dress) from Bir Saba’. It is made of black cotton and linen and embroidered with primarily red silk threads using a Fallahi (peasant) cross stitch. The chest panel of the thobe is heavily embroidered with predominantly red and blue plant and geometric shapes. As for the shoulders and the blue cotton back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline), they bear no tatreez (embroidery). The sleeves are densely embroidered with a stitch pattern of plant and geometric shapes, and the cuffs have a tatreez of rose shapes. The front and back panel have a heavy tatreez of two stitch patterns of geometric and plant shapes. Additionally, the back panel is also embroidered with horizontal stitch patterns of rose and rose pots motifs. The sides (al-Banayiq) are embroidered with plant and geometric shapes. Lastly, the tail of the thobe is embroidered using a Tihshaya (couching) filling stitch, the stitch type used in all thobes from the Bir Saba’ area.Made/Created
