ثوب من منطقة دير البلح، من قماش القطن والكتان الأسود، مُطرّز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر بقطبة الصليب الفلاحية. قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بأشكال نباتية وهندسية وعرق الريش المحيط بالقبة باللون الأبيض، أما الأكتاف والردهة الخلفية فلا تحمل أي تطريز، وصُنعت الردهة الخلفية من القماش المخمل الخمري ورُكبت على الثوب ويحيطها قطعة من القماش باللون الأزرق. وطُرّزت الأكمام بالأشكال الحيوانية كالطيور والأشكال النباتية وعرق مُطرّز باللون الأبيض، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بالأشكال النباتية والهندسية. يظهر تطريز من عرقين من الأشكال النباتية وطيور تُقابل بعضها بعضاً على البدن الأمامي والخلفي للثوب، ويظهر أسفل البدن الخلفي عروق أفقية مُطرّزة بشكل كثيف بأشكال نباتية وهندسية وأشكال حيوانية كالأسد، أما البنايق فمُطرّزة بنفس عروق البدن الأمامي والخلفي.

A thobe (dress) from Deir Al Balah, Gaza. It is made of black cotton and linen and embroidered with primarily red silk threads using a Fallahi (peasant) cross stitch. The chest panel of the thobe is heavily embroidered with geometric shapes and plant shapes like roses along with feather motifs adorned on the panel edges in white threads. As for the shoulders and the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline), they bear no tatreez (embroidery). Moreover, the back of the chest panel is made of burgundy velvet and framed by a piece of blue cloth. The sleeves are embroidered with animal shapes like birds and plant shapes along with a white stitch patterns on the edges, while the cuffs are embroidered with plant and geometric shapes. The front and back panel of the thobe feature an embroidery of two stitch patterns of plant shapes and motifs of birds, with each two facing each other. The bottom of the back panel has a heavy tatreez of horizontal stitch patterns of plant and geometric shapes, as well as animal shapes like lions. Lastly, the sides (al-Banayiq) are embroidered with the same stitch patterns as the front and back panel.Made/Created
